Catholic Universe columnist Sean Ellard continues his look at the issue of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) – or as they are more popularly known, Unidentified Flying Objects – as begun in our 7th May issue. Part 1 addressed the US government’s new public position that acknowledges the growing concerns from UAPs is real – and they exist.
When humans split the atom, it may have inadvertently collided cosmic civilizations together. Nuclear weapons stand apart from all other dastardly creations as the ultimate pandoras box. But that isn’t news to anyone. What might be news is that whatever is fuelling the UAP/UFO phenomenon, seems to have very close associations to atomic power.
Since the Manhattan Project, when Oppenheimer’s foolhardy creation to end wars was unleashed upon the world, it might have stirred something else entirely.
The core issue
Civilian nuclear reactors, across North America and beyond, have reported bizarre UFO-type incidents for decades. From strange orbs to equipment malfunctions, and even a few encounters seemingly beyond comprehension. At nuclear missile silos, both American and Russian, for decades UFOs have allegedly made incursions into these facilities with impunity. Some reported having the missiles begin launch sequences without any human intervention before shutting off, just as quickly. Nuclear warships, nuclear submarines, all of them, have reported strange encounters decade, after decade.
The latest captured on video were leaked to the media, courtesy of filmmaker, Jeremy Corbell. It captures an Orb, flying next to one of the most modern US Naval warships in its fleet, USS Omaha, before it makes a controlled descent into the ocean and disappears. It was just one of dozens of incidents of similar strange objects swarming nuclear battle groups in recent years.
Another good example of a similar behaving object is a government video circulating, captured in Puerto Rico, which shows an orb, only moving much faster – flying along the surface of the water before submerging and emerging again – and then it splits into two separate orbs and keeps flying at breakneck speed. No explanation has been offered for what it was.
The UK’s own Roswell, better known as the Rendlesham Forest incident just marked its 40th anniversary. One of the most well documented cases on record, the strange encounters by military personnel of what they encountered remains unexplained.
But in the years since, the apparent presence of UFOs around the base seen by so many members of the US military, might have been linked to the presence of nuclear weapons on site.
Ten years after the Rendlesham Forest incident, videos and alleged whistleblower letters were sent to the media in Canada, purportedly showing a UFO that had landed in a field outside its capital, Ottawa. A nuclear military bunker is located near where the clandestine videos were allegedly filmed. Locals had reported strange sightings in the area before. But when the government decommissioned the site in the early 1990s, the strange sightings seemingly stopped as well.
Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 astronaut, had spoken publicly about his belief that UFOs were real and that aliens have been focused on preventing nuclear war – or a nuclear holocaust, since the 1940s. Gordon Cooper, another veteran NASA astronaut, spoke out about his own UFO sightings and as a member of the US military as far back as the 1950s. The most famous incident allegedly involving a UFO landing near nuclear testing grounds by Edwards Air Force Base (also used by famous airforce squadron ‘The Megaton Blasters, a specialised test group that handled, transported and dropped nuclear armaments). Cooper was unwavering in his claim that UFOs were an open secret for decades.
Dr Jacques Vallee, computer scientist, government consultant and one of the world’s most pre-eminent figures on UFO/UAPs, will soon publish a new book. It allegedly details a UFO that crashed, and was recovered, in 1945 in the American south-west near a military base. It happened around the time the US first enter the atomic age – two years before the famous Roswell incident, where another crashed UFO was allegedly recovered. What these two incidents have in common is the proximity to where the crashes took place – near US military facilities with close ties to its nuclear weapons programmes.
The ever-present looming cataclysm of nuclear war is statistically more likely now, that is ever has been. With expanded proliferation, greater amounts of dark money and even darker, digital corners of the world to hide in, keeping firm control over instruments designed to obliterate humanity – and our planet – is a losing battle. Which may be the point where these two national security issues intersect.
Lue Elizondo is now the face of US disclosure effort, due to his lifetime as an intelligence officer who ran a Pentagon programme, AATIP, that investigated the UAP/UFO phenomenon. Elizondo claims he quit his post to help bring attention to this national security issue after failing to get law makers’ attention. He even claimed top generals were shielded from his concerns about UAPs due to the giggle-inducing stigma atatched to them. As a ‘civilian’, Elizondo has dutifully served as the comforting, protection bear-type figure helping shepherd the public, government – and then the military – into a sobering, new reality.
His claims of being harassed by his former government peers for speaking out helps give credibility to his monumental public efforts and reputation of being an outsider. But he still meets with senior folks in Washington about this issue, which begs the question, just how far away from the official payroll is he. That question has been left between him and the tax department. But that doesn’t mean his message isn’t true, worth hearing or alarming – whomever or whatever is the driving force behind it.
Elizondo says out that these ‘things’ can interact with nuclear weapons, military hardware and can trans-medium between water, air and likely space. They can jam radar, interfere with electronics, and instantaneously move one place to another. All with no means of propulsion or avionics. That is a real threat.
Some have claimed it could be secret American government programme. But former US Deputy Assistant Director of Defense, Christopher Mellon, claims it is unlikely. Especially because many pilots have reported near-miss collisions with these objects putting their lives at risk. Why would the government make a programme so secret that it could kill potentially dozens of unsuspecting pilots? Let alone risk accidentally trigger a nuclear incident or war. Others suspect possible Russian or Chinese technology might account for some of these incidents. But why would they keep such technology under wraps?
Is it possible that mankind has the ability to create such technology in the first place? The objects observed can pull G-forces more than 500 to 600 Gs and make right angle turns without slowing. The best we can do with our technology is around 17 Gs in hard turns. When experiencing G-forces in the hundreds, the human body, and our equipment is obliterated. These strange objects can move from tens of thousands of feet high to the surface of the ocean in the time it takes to blink. As Elizondo says, if it is the Russians or Chinese, they’ve made generational, quantum leaps in science we don’t even understand. Not to mention the fact they did it without anyone in the West knowing about it. Bear in mind that the Chinese lander that just arrived on the Martian surface lacks the advanced technology of NASA’s most recent arrival, which even included a helicopter! And this suggestion doesn’t account for the perpetual interest in nuclear weapons and power – since both Russia and China entered the atomic age over half a century ago.
There is an outside chance some of these encounters could be part the results of reverse engineering of recovered crafts and technology – which is central to the theories and allegations from people like Bob Lazar. He claims he was hired to help ‘reverse engineer’ captured UFOs at an off-shoot location within the mysterious, Area-51 military base. Lazar’s claims from over 30 years ago really helped springboard the UFO/UAP phenomenon into high gear. As Elizondo points out, while the craft observed can do incredible, mind-blowing feats – it still seems to operate within our known laws of science and theoretical physics. That’s something Lazar claimed years ago.
Remember too that US pilots claim they’ve been swarmed for years by these strange objects, especially off the US Atlantic coast, to such a degree that they’re reporting near collisions that are putting these pilots lives at risk. if that were Russia/China it would be tantamount to an act of war. If it is an American project it is at the very least monumental asinine stupidity to put fellow American lives at risk for the sake of testing secret Black Ops programmes – and in full view, too. It just doesn’t make sense.
Us and them
The attention to nuclear power and weapons has been part of the modern-day UFO/UAP phenomenon since Roswell. Next time, in part 3 of this disclosure series, I will examine who, or what, some members of the US government think might be fuelling this issue. And why irresponsible atom-splitting is putting more than just our lives and environment at risk, because the pale blue dot we call our home might actually be a duplex.
