The Bishop of Galloway is recovering after suffering a recent heart attack.
Bishop William Nolan was rushed to hospital on Friday morning after complaining of chest pains at his home in Ayr.
The bishop was being treated in Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride, where he was reportedly in a stable condition. According to the Scottish Herald, local sources claimed that the bishop was fitted with a stent there before he was transferred to Wishaw General, North Lanarkshire
