Summer is in full swing, which means it’s time to embrace fine-weather fashion with sandals, sunnies and beach bags.
Another seasonal essential? The humble hat – because a day in the sun without one will have you squinting, sweating and running for the shade.
But if you’ve been wearing the same battered baseball cap for years, it’s time for an upgrade.

It doesn’t have to be straw-coloured, though. A black or patterned hat makes an edgy alternative to all those neutral hues.
