Prayers have been kindly requested by the Diocese of Lancaster for Bishop Paul Swarbrick after he fractured his skull.
The Bishop of Lancaster was injured on Friday 8th May whilst exercising on his bike and was diagnosed with a fractured skull and damage to his left ear after being admitted to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
Bishop Swarbrick was discharged on Sunday 10th May and is continuing his recovery at home.
“He would appreciate your prayers,” said the Diocese of Lancaster. “It would appear that he is well on the road to recovery but with any such injury it could take some time. We remember him by name at every Mass but especially so at this time.
“Thank you all for your prayers.”
