Bas-relief with joined hands patinated Valgardena wood.
The original composition belongs to Albrecht Durer (Nuremberg 1471 – 1528). Engraver, painter and mathematician, he was considered to be the best exponent of the Renaissance painting.
Patinated finish of the statue: the completed sculpture is coated with a walnut colour patina.
Sculpture in maple wood, hand made by the Valgardena craftsmen following the local artistic tradition.

• Really nice article and very well done, I would have preferred slightly larger but the fit is still the one indicated on the site. The colour is a little different than on the site, but in my opinion, is even more beautiful. Very nice also the history linked to the original painting by Dürer.
