The pupils and staff of St William’s Catholic Primary School in Bradford recently gathered to remember those who have sadly died during the Covid-19 pandemic and to give thanks for all the key workers that have helped us to keep going.
The pupils brought and made daffodils as a symbol of hope for the future, and after the ceremony they were taken to a local care home, as an act of kindness to those around us. Such acts of kindness have been characteristic of so many inspirational people during the last year and the children wanted to follow their example.
Headteacher, Miss Parker said: “Our school family has been touched in a variety of ways during this time and it is important for all of us to celebrate all that is good and remember those and the families of those who are no longer here.”
