Catholic Boxer Tyson Fury has spoken about the importance of family, as he revealed his wife Paris is pregnant with their sixth child and thanked God for all the blessings.
The WBC champion, 32, recently shared the news while speaking to Gareth A. Davies, telling the boxing correspondent how family is his top priority.
“Paris is pregnant again and the Lord has blessed us definitely with another child and I’m very thankful,” he told Davies.
“Got a beautiful wife, beautiful kids, they’re all healthy. That’s the most important thing, you know, your health and your family.”
The self-proclaimed Gypsy King added: “Nothing else really matters. Your job, your money, your wealth, your career, none of that really matters because you can get another job, you can start snooker or you can go make more money.
“It doesn’t really matter but the one thing you can’t get back is your family. You can’t get back time lost and that’s the crazy thing about it all.”
Fury, the highest-paid fighter of 2020 after earning over £46million, admitted that he does not care for fame or fortune.
Fury met his wife Paris, 30, when she was 15 and he was 17. Like Fury, Paris is a practising Catholic and was raised in an Irish Traveller family. They began dating the year after they met, and married in 2008 at St Peter in Chains Catholic Church in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
The couple are already parents to three sons and two daughters – Venezuela, 10; Prince John James, eight; Prince Tyson II, four; Valencia, three; and Prince Adonis Amaziah, 12 months.
